Dear John and Josefina
Casa Capella provided us a wonderful central location and the finest accommodation – we’re all glad Todd found this gem on the internet.
We quickly fell into a wonderful lifestyle of seeing sites during the afternoons, fabulous late night meals and enjoying the local colour and people at the clubs. The cozy, very dark bedrooms made it easy to sleep to noon (quite a luxury for us).
The site standouts for us were Picasso, La Pedrera, Gaudi, Miro, Tibidabo and the stand out day trips: Girona Cathedral , Sitges, Figueres, Montserrat (avoid the funiculars if possible!). It was great to have a rental car to see the wonderful sites on our schedule.
We couldn’t believe how fabulous the restaurants are and we sampled many of them during our week’s stay. The ones we enjoyed the best; L’Orangerie /Grand Hotel Florida, Lasarte, Tapas place on Mallorca (crowded and bright but very good), and Agua on the beach.
This will be a memorable trip for us all!

We loved staying in the apartment. It was a very social experience having a great living room for cocktail hour before going out to great restaurants and it was nice to have a computer with Internet access to check on our American Football scores.
